Pixel: any of the small discrete elements that together constitute an image

This word does not exist according to standard definitions of the English language. This is why I feel that the English language is so much crap... it's like trying to express a sense of taste using only colors to describe it. I can do it... but can anyone else understand?

Language is inadequate. I am pixelated in so many different ways. Here are the ways that a dictionary will accept.

Pixel: 1 : any of the small discrete elements that together constitute an image
Pixie: 1: fairy; specifically : a cheerful mischievous sprite 2: a usually petite vivacious woman or girl
Pixilated (derived from pixie): 1: somewhat unbalanced mentally; also : bemused 2: whimsical — pix·i·la·tion
Pixel Art - an art form where a picture is drawn pixel by pixel

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines."
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance

“Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.”
Antoine De Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince
